"Red lentils are a great source of plant-based protein, iron and fibre. Paired with butternut squash and tomato, this dish is rich in Vitamins A, C, B and E. Butternut squash is also a great vegetable for children that may be already fussy with bitter foods because it has a slight sweetness to it.

Try pairing this savoury dish with some of those bitter vegetables like broccoli and spinach. Evidence shows the more exposure babies have to them, the more likely they are to like them in the future. I also love green vegetables in warm dishes as there is such a contrast in colour.
