"This vegetarian, high-in-fibre recipe is a great source of plant-based protein. Babies need a mixture of different protein sources to get the complete mix of amino acids they need. The quinoa used in this recipe has an excellent amino acid profile, as it contains all nine essential amino acids making it a great plant-based protein source which is needed for growth and repair. The vegetables, Italian mascarpone and mature cheddar helps encourage a love for savoury flavours early on. Best served with soft cooked vegetables. I would suggest green courgette strips to complement the orange risotto and make meal times fun and colourful." - Jo.
