Sweet Potato Yoghurt Spooky Pizzas

Age range:  Suitable from 6 months

Yield:  4 mini pizzas

Storage:  Can be frozen once completely cooled and stored in an air tight container or bag for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer, microwave or toaster!

Ingredients:

110g Plain Flour

1 Little Freddie Sweet Potato Yoghurt Pouch

30g Passata

1/2 tsp dried Oregano

Small seasoning of Salt and Pepper (optional)

6 slices of mozzarella cheese

4 black olives

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, add your flour, sweet potato pouch, dried oregano and seasonings and mix together with your hands
  3. Once a dough is formed, knead on a floured surface for a few minutes
  4. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to desired thickness
  5. Next take a small bowl/mug and cut 4 circles out of your dough (or you can just slice into 4 squares!)
  6. Place your pizzas onto a lined baking tray and cook in your pre-heated oven for 8-10 minutes (we just want the dough to be a little cooked before putting our toppings on!)
  7. Whilst your pizzas are cooking, start making your toppings! Using a Halloween cookie cutter, cut out 2 spooky shapes from your mozzarella slices
  8. With the remaining slices, cut out 6 circles (2 big, 2 medium and 2 small) followed by cutting some strips out to make the web (see video) 💡 Make sure these are really thin as the cheese will melt when cooking!
  9. To make the spiders, cut 2 olives in half to make 2 heads and 2 abdomens. Using the remaining olives, slice thinly and then half again to make little legs!
  10. Take your pizzas out of the oven and spread over your passata using a spoon
  11. Now the fun part! Arrange your spider webs on two of the pizzas topped with your spiders. Add your Halloween shaped cheese to the other two pizzas
  12. Place pizzas back in the oven for another 8-10 minutes. 💡Be careful not to brown your cheese too much as you don’t want to lose your design!
  13. Remove from the oven and enjoy!!
